I have a female budgie that always eat the floor paper of the cage. I don’t know if she really eats it but I think yes. When she does that for example in the morning, in the evening she’s fluffy (more than normal) and sleepy, but when she doesn’t eat she is normal. (Sorry for my english). Should I worrie? Should I do something or not?
She’s not tamed so is a little afraid of new things
Almost every budgie love to chew and shred paper to pieces, especially female Budgies. 😊 I have 14 Budgies and most of them chew everything they can get, even paper but not eating it. I suppose she is just shredding paper not eating, Budgies don’t eat paper or anything not edible. If you notice she is actually eating paper then you need to remove the paper from the cage. Budgie spending most of the time chirping, sleeping, and being fluffy during the day.
