My daughter has 2 sets of mated budgies. One set is 2 males and the other set is a male and female. The female died last night very suddenly. We were trying to get her into a vet this week. I know birds mourn like people do. She was trying to even out her flock and last week purchased two more females. What do we do now? She is heartbroken and part of her flock is missing now. What is the best way to handle this? So we try to put of the new females with the bird who lost his mate or put them with the two males and wait?
