I had a budgie when i was little, the little guy played it with a lot. I want to buy a new budgie, will it affect him ? Should I keep or remove the toy ?

It depends, you need to provide a lot of foraging and shredding toys for your Budgie. They need to keep stimulated for a healthy mind and body.
